Return & Refund Policy

At Upmed Online Book Store, we aim to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. This policy outlines our guidelines for returns and refunds. Please read it carefully to understand your rights and obligations.

Important Notices

  • International Orders: No returns or refunds available
  • Refunds are ONLY provided for:
    • Wrong items delivered
    • Items out of stock after order placement

1. Return Policy for Pakistan

Return Conditions:

  • Returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery
  • Books must be in original, unused condition
  • Original packaging must be intact
  • Shipping costs for returns are borne by the customer
  • Returns are only accepted for orders within Pakistan

2. Refund Policy

Refunds are ONLY provided in these cases:

  • Wrong item delivery: When you receive a different book than ordered
  • Stock unavailability: When we cannot fulfill your order due to stock issues

Refunds are NOT provided for:

  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect orders placed by customer
  • International orders
  • Used or damaged books
  • Standard delivery delays

3. Return Process

  1. Contact our customer service within the eligible timeframe
  2. Obtain a Return Authorization Number (RAN)
  3. Pack the item securely with all original materials
  4. Ship the item to the provided address
  5. Include the RAN on the package

4. Refund Process

For Wrong Items:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Provide order number and photos of received item
  3. We will arrange return pickup
  4. Refund processed after item verification

For Out of Stock Items:

  1. We will notify you about stock unavailability
  2. Refund will be processed automatically

5. Policy on Missing Packages and Delivery Claims

Customers are required to report all issues regarding missing or undelivered packages within 60 days of the original shipping date. This policy applies to packages that are either marked as delivered but not received by the customer, or that have been lost in transit.

To initiate a claim, please contact our support team with the following information:

  • Your order number
  • A confirmation of your shipping address

Failure to report a missing package within the 60-day period will render the order ineligible for a refund or a replacement. After this period, our ability to file a claim with the shipping carrier is voided, and we are unable to assume liability for the lost item.

6. Refund Timeline and Method

  • Refunds processed within 7 business days of approval
  • Refund will be issued to original payment method:
    • Credit/Debit card: 5-10 business days
    • Bank transfer: 3-5 business days
    • Cash on Delivery: Bank transfer
